An Original Linocut Print of The Hag Tree. Available in two versions. Version 1, printed on 250gsm somerset satin white paper and Version 2, printed on delicate nepalese washi paper, in a light natural tone.
 
 The Hag tree represents the letting go off all the excess like the trees do in winter, waiting to be born again. The wisdom that comes with age and the wisdom of not needing anything but to be still and to be at peace. 
 
Handprinted by myself at my home studio in the Northeast of England, so everyone is slightly different and unique.
 
The process of a linocut print is quite lengthy. I digitally design most of my prints, these are then printed and transfered to a block for carving. Once carved the block is inked and printed to produce the final piece. Each edition is different but limited. Each edition will be of 20 prints. Each print is titled and signed for authenticity and comes with a descriptive note about the mythology of the design.

Printed printmaking paper approximately 11inch x 18inch but paper size will vary.
Caligo Safewash Ink is an oil based ink which can be cleaned up without using toxic cleaners, its main ingredient is linseed oil which makes them environmentally friendly and easy to work with.
Your print will be carefully wrapped to ensure safe delivery. I am trying to make the move to using post-consumer packaging to be more eco-friendly.
 
All UK orders are being posted by the Royal Mail, for orders over £10 this will be by 48hr tracked delivery unless Express delivery options are added. For orders under £10 I use 2nd class post. International Delivery is via Royal Mail International Standard tracked Delivery.
