An Original hand printed linocut print of Mother and Child in dark green water based ink.
Hand printed by myself at my home studio in the Northeast of England, so everyone is slightly different and unique. This lovely little print would make a beautiful gift for the birth of a child, a baby shower or christening.
Mother Earth, with her blossoms and new bursts of life, surrounds and protects the Mother and her Child. A new life, a sacred moment. Welcome to the world, little one.
Specifications
This linocut print is hand printed on delicate nepalese mitsumata washi paper, with schmincke water based ink.
The size of the print is 5 inches by 7 inches approximately and the paper is approximately 8 inches by 10 inches with deckled edges.

I source my printing paper with the utmost care, looking not only for high quality paper but also companies that care highly for the environment and who produce paper that is ethically sustainable both for the earth and for the people who make it.
