Sophia, shrouded in mystery, her name and wisdom form a hidden part of so many ancient religions. In gnosticism she is revered as the divine female creator, the creator of angels and also counterpart to Jesus Christ. She is the personification of sacred feminine wisdom, and is the feminine symbol of divinity which was lost to so many as patriarchal Christianity took its hold. Hand printed by myself at my home studio in the Northeast of England, so everyone is slightly different and unique.

Specifications

This artwork is hand printed on to thick somerset printmakers paper in 250gsm. It is printed in caligo safewash oil based ink.

This artwork is approximately 25cm x 19cm and the paper size allows for the print to be mounted and framed as you desire. The print will arrive unframed, however I do frame prints on request, please message me with your requirements.

Your print will be carefully wrapped to ensure safe delivery. I am making the move to using post-consumer packaging to be more eco-friendly so it will practical and secure but perhaps not as pretty as before.

UK orders are being posted by either the Royal Mail or Evri, depending on the size of the print, for orders over £15 this will be by tracked delivery. For orders under £10 I use 2nd class post. International Delivery is most often with Royal Mail International Standard Delivery
