An original linocut print of Eros and Psyche, ancient greek lovers. Hand printed by myself at my home studio in the Northeast of England, so everyone is slightly different and unique. This lovely print would make a sweet valentines gift for your true love.
Psyche was a beautiful human, so beautiful she incurred the wrath of Aphrodite. Aphrodite ordered her son, Eros to avenge her but the moment he laid eyes on Psyche he felt his heart pierced by one of his own arrows and feel deeply in love and against his mothers wishes married Psyche in secret. Although they had to go through many trials before their happy ending, the two did end up together and lived happily in a beautiful garden in the sky.

Specifications
This linocut print is hand printed on beautiful somerset satin paper, with schmincke water based ink.
The size of the print is approximately A4 and the paper is larger with a border for easy framing.
